1x B77 & PR99 VU METER BRAND NEW complete with overload LED and a pair of illumination LED bulbs and holders with wiring. Many original B77 and PR99 VU meters have a sticky needles or are just useless as the internal glue holding the movement dries up and crumbles. Due to many inquiries after our successful re-manufacture of the A77 meters, I can now offer brand new B77 / PR99 VU meters as original OEM stock. Many people asked, “can you do the same as you did for the A77, for the B77 / PR99?” These are not re manufactured like the A77 (yet!) but this is what I can offer as original OEM parts. Unfortunately they cost so much because simply that’s what I am charged and recently it went up 66% . Its crazy! I am looking at an alternative but it isnt easy. PLEASE NOTE: These meters are new manufcatured but are now in very short supply. We may run out very soon. We can offer an alternative 2nd hand one/s at a reduced price but availability varies. You need to check with us 1st. THIS LISTING IS FOR 1x B77 / PR99 VU meter packed in a proper protective box complete with overload LED and illumination LED illumination lamps (for 2 meters). As these are from the last batches made, they may cosmetically be slightly different to your old ones. Please check carefully and if this is a concern, then I suggest you by in pairs. I stress this is purely very slight and cosmetic only. Older meters may have a very slightly different printing and may also be more yellow as they have aged or the colour may be faded. Our parts are listed on ebay for the benefit of customers who, at the same time purchase a kit from us. So, unfortunately due to the onerous time consuming administration foisted onto us by ebay and the freight / postal system, we have had to instigate a ‘hidden’ in built handling charge of $30 on the low value part listed here. This is incorporated into the shipping charge (ebay system) and why it may seem exorbitantly expensive. This ‘handling charge’ can be REFUNDED in full ($30) as a discount by requesting a combined invoice for any multiple purchase of a kit plus parts. A ‘hidden’ handling charge does not apply to kits or tape media / accessories and some more expensive parts which are nett. Some of the more complex triple can high voltage capacitors for example I personally hand make for the F36 / G36 machines and old A40 amplifiers. One enthusiast restoring a F36 said to me about a year ago, ‘surely you can’t make much money on those considering the time and effort involved’? He is right of course but the satisfaction of knowing every time I sell one of those kits, an F or G36 will be brought back into this wonderful analogue world of ours, frankly tickles me pink! Revox A77 VU meters now remanufactured and better quality that the original. Motor parts such as low friction washers, shims, brake felts, lubrication felts etc. – all newly manufactured for Nagravox. Solutions that make problems go away – see our new NAB deluxe overhaul kits with reel spacer disks. GOOD IDEA – you bet. Why hasn’t anyone else thought of it – who knows – it’s not rocket science that’s for sure! Will people copy me – of course – that’s life?
