1981 VANTAGE VSH-455WA MADE IN JAPAN AT THE FAMOUS MATSUMOKU FACTORY This 1981 Vantage VSH-455 model is a top-of-the-Vantage-line Semi-Hollowbody electric guitar with a fully bound body & “F” holes that is made of Bookmatched ash lam. Both Front and back with Killer Multi Wood Lam Front Center Stripe!. It features a 22-fret rosewood fretboard with solid Brass nut and saddles, the straightest 5pc maple neck in the biz (Gibson even copied it in the 70s and 80s!) and killer MMK 61 PAF’s pickups with coil taps, with Alnico 6 Magnet Powering these Vintage tone Monsters! The #6 Mag Gives these PAF Beauties face Slapping Deep rich Tone with Plenty of Punch too with rich well rounded Tone like no other! If I had a set of these I would not let them go for no less than $200 Each! Like Most Japanese Humbuckers from this era these were made to copy USA Pickups Mainly Gibson, and Dimarzio Versions! These are Clearly made in the vintage Gibson SHAW Humbucker style and easily go toe to toe with them as well! . Top of line also means the best electronics too. High quality Japanese pots with push/pull tone tone pots for each humbucker which makes these SHAW copies even better as most Gibson’s do not have the versatility of coil splits! It even has a rare for japan a Switchcraft style 3-way toggle and metal braided secondary wires (Pictured)! The guitar’s body color is Walnut as Designated by the “WA” at the end of the model Number, and it comes with its original Branded hard-shell case (OHSC). The Vantage VSH-455 model is a rare find, and it was manufactured in Japan at the MATSUMOKU FACTORY. This is what 43yr old, super rare, built with top quality vintage looks like!
