It could take up to about 10 business days before it ships.Wireless Remote Adapter for Nakamichi ST-7, ST-7E and ST-70 AM/FM Tuners I’ve been making wireless remote adapters since 2006 with more than 3500 units shipped worldwide. I am an electrical engineer and started making unit for Nakamichi cassette decks for people on the NakTalk email list. Over the years my customers have asked me to make similar units for other models and brands of audio gear. I now make over 17 models of remote adapters for 10 different brands (Aiwa, Akai, Alesis, Ampex, Crown, Denon, Nakamichi, Otari, Revox, Sony, Studer, Tandberg, Tascam, Teac and Technics). I typically sell through eBay, but, low volume models are only sold direct. If you don’t see a remote adapter for your equipment ask me, I might have one already. This unit plugs into the 7-pin DIN connector on the back of the Nakamichi ST-7, ST-7E or ST-70 AM/FM Tuner and allows the following functions to be controller wirelessly: Memory 1-8, Shift8-16, Seek Up, Seek Down, AM/FM. The Memory 1-8 buttons are mapped to the remotes number buttons 1-8. Shift 9-16 is mapped to the “0” button on the remote keypad, AM/FM is mapped to the TV/Video button on the remote. This unit can be controlled by just about every universal remote on the market. It just needs to be set to control a Sony VCR (VHS, Beta or 8mm). Includes the wireless remote receiver that connects the tape deck, a universal remote with batteries and preprogrammed. There is also a jumper wire that will need to be installed inside the tuner. No tools required except for a philips screw driver to open the case. Mod is completely reversible. Control your tape deck using ANY universal remote (set for Sony VCR). This unit can be programmed, via a set of internal jumpers, to 1 of 4 remote codes (Sony VHS, Sony Beta, Sony 8mm and Sony Laser Disc Player). This allows multiple units to reside in the same room and be independently controlled. Features: Small size. Only 2.6″ x 2.6″ x 1.1″ Receive/Power LED is lit when the unit is getting power and it blinks off when a valid IR command is received Four unique device code settings allow four tape decks to operate in the same room without interaction (requires setting internal jumpers) Works with most universal remotes (just set it for Sony 8mm, beta or VHS VCR or Sony Laser Disc player) What’s included in this auction.
