Compatibility: This is a like-for-like replacement. Select the matching model &year to order. Find the model number and serial number printed on the underside of your Mac, near the regulatory markings. To find out which year via the serial number, search “everymac ultimate lookup” on google, then check the year in Family Field. (Don’t use the year printed next to the regulatory markings, or the year purchased as it doesn’t reflect the accurate family). Apple may release different CPU/RAM/SSD specs for the same model&year, we’ll make sure it’s a like-for-like replacement. If there’s SSD in the specification which means the SSD is soldered onboard, you wont’ have any of your data on the new replacement logic board unless data is recovered from the faulty logic board or from your backup, which isn’t part of this service. Installation: We accept either drop off (Melbourne) or mail in (Australia wide) repair request. Logic board replacement is professional service and needs to follow the right process and complicate procedure. Your faulty logic board will be traded in for free installation service.
Shipping: Refer to the information in the “Shipping” tab bellowing. Either mail it in, or drop it off for the service. Bubble wrap the whole MacBook inside the parcel box (Post office can do it for you, please include all screws and parts except the charger)
